2025 HOD Biennial Conference Highlights

The Hebrew Order of David International's 2025 was a rousing success for the Order, North America Governing Lodge, the Atlanta Lodges, and Lodge Bezalel.

Nearly 200 brethren, spouses and dignitaries attended the four-day event, May 15-18. It began with a Thursday night hamburger/hotdog extravaganza for out-of-town guests, catered by the grill masters from Lodge Shimshon; continued with an important Grand Lodge meeting on Friday to nominate the Grand Lodge executive team and amend our constitution; and culminated with a busy Sunday that included the elevation of 11 brethren to Worthy Brother status, install the new North America Governing Lodge executive team, install WB David Joss as Grand Lodge president, and hand out awards at the evening gala.

The evening was capped off by the presentation of a check for $400,000 to the IDF Widows & Orphans Fund, double the amount pledged at the start of our campaign.

Lodge Bezalel brethren Wayne Joss and Ron Scheinzeit were elevated to Worthy Brother status, with Wayne being collared by his father, WB David, on the same day WB David assumed the Grand Lodge presidency.

WB Stan Schnitzer was installed as Scribe for North America Governing Lodge, joining Bro Steve Kramer, Chief Legal Officer; WB Boris Gremont, Secretary; WB Leonard Laser, President; WB Paul Wainstein, Vice President; and WB Joe Blog, Treasurer.
